The City of Justin seeks to initiate a comprehensive and effective grounds maintenance program staffed by qualified personnel. The City is accepting sealed proposals from qualified Proposers for Grounds Maintenance. The City of Justin, expects and requires that the landscape maintenance at these sites shall be of the very highest quality possible. All work to be performed within the scope of these specifications and shall be strictly managed, executed, and performed by experienced personnel. Term of Contract. The original contract period wiil l begin Tuesday, January 25, 2022, or the date of City Council award if subsequent thereto, through September 30, 2022. All pricing shall remain firm throughout the contract period. At City of Justin's option, agreement with vendor and City Council approval, the contract may be renewed for two (2) additional one (1) year period. Prices must not exceed the awarded amount for the entire contract period. Any price increase request for a subsequent renewal period must be submitted in writing 120 days in advance of the current contract end date. Questions regarding the proposal will be accepted until Monday, January 10, 2022 at 9:00AM (local time). All proposals shall be sealed and clearly labeled on the front. This conference is non-mandatory, but information discussed will be helpful in preparation of the proposal and all interested proposers are highly encouraged to attend. The conference and any resulting site tours are to respond to any questions of the proposers and for proposers to become familiar with the locale and site- specific conditions that may affect cost, progress, and performance of work. The successful proposer may not assign its rights or duties under an award without the prior written consent of the City of Justin. Such consent shall not relieve the assignor of liability in the event of default by its assignee. Request for non-consideration of proposals must be made in writing to City and received by the City of Justin prior to the time set for opening proposals. After the other proposals are opened, the proposal for which nonconsideration is properly requested may be returned unopened. The proposal, however, may not be withdrawn after the proposals have been opened, and the proposer, in submitting the same, warrants and guarantees that the proposal has been carefully reviewed and checked and that it is in all things true, accurate and free of mistakes.
