Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Perris, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Perris invites proposals from consultants to provide Architectural and Engineering Design necessary to provide conceptual design, phased out development plan and construction drawings for 2.6 acres of total new park onsite and offsite improvement for Morgan Park 2. These conceptual designs will serve as the basis for further designs and actual working drawings to be developed by the architect selected under this Request for Proposals. Project will require two-part phasing for design and development services, specified as follows: Phase 1- Off site street improvements will be required to easterly extend E. Morgan Street to new proposed Roundabout to include retaining walls, bollards, decorative lighting, landscaping, and sports theme art features (soccer ball, basketball, or footballs) then connect to new southernly permanent asphalt access road with new driveway entrance into new parking lot. Vehicular barriers and or gates to be installed at end of proposed access road. Street improvements shall also consist of new pedestrian sidewalks as required to ensure connectivity from adjacent City park Morgan Park. Installation of curbs, gutters, street lighting, ADA accessibility improvements, walking paths, ramps, street crossings with flashing light indicators, irrigation, and landscaping along E. Morgan Street as required. Onsite improvements shall include new parking lot expansion for approx. 80 new parking stalls to include required Electric Vehicle (EV) and ADA parking spaces with lot stripping, parking lot lighting, solar path lighting, accessible walkways, perimeter chain link fencing with man gates, 2 trash bin enclosures, vegetative drainage areas with landscaping and irrigation elements to connect existing Morgan Park 2 soccer field mainline and irrigation controller. Phase2- Additional onsite improvements will be required to construct approximately 2,700 sq ft of new asphalt paved lot area connecting Phase 1 parking lot extension improvements to the new Phase 2 project improvements. New proposed enclosed asphalt lot area will serve as the proposed Community Services and Park Division with onsite modular office space, as well as dry material and vehicle storage area. Proposed facility yard shall also include a 10ax44a modular building with 2 offices spaces, breakroom, and restroom facility with an adjacent prefab metal structure approx. 30ax 20ax 15a to serve as truck and trailer storage, including an emergency shower/eyewash station. New facilities to be enclosed with a combination of perimeter chain link fencing, an automated wrought iron security entry gate and CMU block walls as required for dry material storage bins. Site lighting as required for parking areas and new accessibility walkways to connect Phase 1 and 2 improvements with existing parks. All additional lot areas to be stripped to accommodate truck and trailer parking as well as employee vehicle parking. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
