Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Blackduck, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,160-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; 2,520-square-foot fire / police facility; and fire / police facility.

The Project involves General, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical work for the construction of a 1,160 SF wood framed and Pre-Engineered timber column building housing the City of Blackduck Public Works Department, and Police Department. Construction will include 8,640 timber column garage area with poured concrete column footings pads, concrete slab on grade floor with seven overhead doors. Office areas have storage areas above them for total of 2,520 SF including all mezzanine spaces. The HVAC system will be propane fired forced air and propane fired hydronic in slab radiant heat. Water and Sewer systems are to connect to the City services. Electrical work will include lighting, power and communications material and installation. A new electrical service powered by Beltrami Electric. Coop will be installed to facilitate the electrical work. Each bid must be accompanied with a cashier's check, bid bond, U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or certified check equal to 5 percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. Security is payable to the Owner as a guarantee of prompt execution of the contract in accordance with the proposal and contract documents, along with furnishing Payment and Performance Bonds of One Hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount acceptable to the Owner. The envelope shall be plainly marked to indicate its contents and show the following information on the exterior of the envelope: 1. Project Title 2. The name of the Person, Firm or Corporation submitting the Bid 3. Bid Date and time of Opening Bids received after the Deadline will be returned unopened. Bids are to be submitted on the bid form provided in the project Manual. Bids not received on the Bid form will be cause for rejection.
