All questions after the Pre-RFP Meeting shall be submitted through U3P. Written Questions are encouraged up to the final question deadline, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, until 5:00 PM MDT. Responses to all questions will be posted by Wednesday, January 19, 2022 on U3P. If you discover any significant ambiguity, error, omission, or other alleged deficiency in the RFP, immediately notify Trans-Jordan's Purchasing Agent. If it becomes necessary to clarify or revise any part of this RFP, addenda will be posted on the U3P website by January 19, 2022. This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for Trans-Jordan, not the Division of Purchasing. Responses should be directed to the designated individual/office as designated in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing does not accept responses for courtesy postings. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on this website. Instead, you will need to contact the designated individual/office as identified in the solicitation document. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated byTrans-Jordan as described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Jaren Scott started the meeting and introduced those involved with the project from Trans-Jordan. Those involved will be: Jaren Scott, Executive Director; Brenda Bingham, Purchasing Agent; Jason Turville, Project Manager; Mike Gladbach, Sandy City Public Works Director and Trans-Jordan Board Member; Chris Child, Architectural Project Manager with JRCA Architects / Galloway; and Nick Patterson, Senior Project Manager with Forsgren Associates. The CM/GC selected will be expected to begin work by February 2022 Performance and Payment bonds in the prescribed form in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum Project # 60594075 Trans-Jordan anticipates using a CM/GC delivery procurement method for this Project and expects to select the CM/GC at the conceptual design level. It is anticipated that the CM/GC will provide multiple detailed construction estimates during the design phase and an itemized Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) at the 90- 100% construction drawing level (refer to the Anticipated Schedule). For the purposes of preparing Proposal documents, Trans-Jordan expects/anticipates that coordination meetings will be held at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% during the Design Phase. Additionally, the CM/GC may be expected to participate in 8-12 additional coordination meetings with the Design Team as required, for a complete project understanding. These meetings will be in addition to all construction meetings, phone calls and email coordination as needed. Conceptual site layout and building layouts are provided in the appendices for reference.
