Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the town of babylon, in the amount of, five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Note: an apprenticeship program approved by the nys dept. Of labor is required for all projects in excess of 250,000.00. This requirement applies to all prime contracts and all their respective sub-contracts, regardless of the subcontract amount, for all trades necessary to complete the work. Failure to comply with this requirement, may be cause for your bid to be rejected. Failure to provide any documenation at the time of the bid submission, will be cause for your bid to be rejected. The Contractor shall commence work within (5) days of the execution of the Contract. Work shall be completed within 75 DAYS FOR KAY ROAD AND 60 DAYS FOR BAY BLVD.
