The Housing Authority of the City of Columbia, South Carolina (Columbia Housing) Board of Commissioners (BOC) and Executive Leadership Team are launching a strategic planning process that will outline the Authority's vision, goals, and objectives. The purpose of this request for proposals (RFP) is to solicit the services of a skilled consultant to facilitate a planning process leading to a strategic plan that furthers the organization's Mission; clearly articulates the future Vision; and, exemplifies the organizational Values. The strategic planning process will assist the BOC to redefine the organization as it implements the Vision 2030 P lan that will reposition the real estate portfolio and exit the Public Housing Program. Through the strategic planning process, the BOC will clarify Columbia Housing's role in affordable and workforce housing in the City of Columbia and Richland County, as well as its role in the provision of supportive services for the clients we serve. The selected Consultant will design and facilitate structured processes that include input from a diverse array of stakeholders, both internal and external, including residents, participants, landlords, local government, neighborhood leaders and other community partners and stakeholders. It is anticipated that the contract period will be approximately six months beginning in March 2022, and concluding no later than September 30, 2022.
