Demolition of the following 4 buildings located in Madawaska, Maine: 381 Main Street, 383 Main Street, 385 Main Street, and 247 Main Street. Demolition work will include the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing siding, roofing, floor and ceiling tiles, removal of entire building superstructure, removal of the foundation to three feet below grade, and any other materials. All demolition debris shall be disposed of at the appropriate waste facilities. All work shall be in accordance with plans and specifications for the demolition of the four buildings and site restoration earthwork and stabilization; and all materials and equipment, services, and construction inherent to the Work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 90 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment within 120 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time. A pre-Bid conference is not scheduled at this time; however, should a pre-bid conference be held, all plan holders will be notified in advance. Should a conference be held, the Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
