The City of Somersworth is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to resurface existing road surfaces and/or place/compact paver shim, replace existing sanitary sewer and drainage manhole frames/covers, adjust existing drainage frames/grates, and place/compact a hot bituminous pavement wearing surface/overlay as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB). The City of Somersworth requests that paving work begin on Monday May 2, 2022 with a substantial completion date no later than Friday July 15, 2022 and a final completion date of Monday August 15, 2022. All work shall be performed in accordance with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (2016 Edition or latest version), and the Standard Plans for Road Construction (2010 Edition or latest version), unless otherwise specified herein this RFB. In the event of any discrepancies between NHDOT and City standards, the City standards shall prevail.
