The Contractor's responsibilities include: 1. Demolition and Disposal ofthe Existing Culvert. 2. Reconstruction ofthe roadway approaches to the limits shown on the contract drawings. 3. Construction ofa new Culvert to include (but not limited to): Installation ofprecast concrete inverted slab, frames units and wingwalls. Construction ofcast-in-place reinforced concrete headwalls, cast-in-place reinforced concrete closure pours, and the placement ofstonefill. Installation ofguide railing as shown on the contract drawings. Grading and all approach work within the limits shown on the contract drawings. 4. In general, the Contractor shall perform or provide all items necessary to complete the work described on the contract drawings and/or noted in the specifications.
