A timeline or award has not yet been established.**  The Work comprises of improving fourteen (14) signalized intersections within the City of Palm Springs, in Riverside County, California, and includes, but is not limited to: modifying existing intersection or install new traffic control devices to conform to the latest edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD) standards relocating existing or install new signal pole(s) and mast arm(s), and constructing new foundations removing and replacing conflicting striping removing and reconstructing curb and gutter, median, sidewalk and ramps removing and reconstructing pavement related to curb return and signal work utility verification by potholing or other means and protecting existing utilities (including overhead facilities) in place The above work will be executed within the limits of each intersection and within the City right-of-way with minimal environmental and economic impact. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of: 140 working days. There will be a notice to proceed to commence with potholing and to get poles ordered. Another Notice to Proceed will be issued in coordination with pole delivery. As a condition of award, the successful bidder will be required to submit payment, performance and warranty bonds, and certificates of insurance. each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy showing proof of a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price payable to the City of Palm Springs. The original hard copy will be collected from the apparent low bidder immediately following bid opening.
