Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dubuque, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project provides for a multi-purpose trail connection that will head directly east off of the 16th Street bridge over Peosta Channel to the intersection of Admiral Sheehy Drive and Marina Drive, a length of approximately 630 linear feet. This project promotes the flow of visitors to the island and the recently completed Chaplain Schmitt Veteran's Memorial Plaza. This project budget also includes funding for improved wayfinding signage starting at Kerper Court and landscaping the street right-of-way between Peosta Channel and Admiral Sheehy Drive on the south side of 16th Street. This project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of December 17, 2021, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
