Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Raymond, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes: Reclamation of existing travel-way and placement of new HMA pavement structure. Instillation of HMA sidewalk along main street. ADA upgrades at route 302/ route 121 intersection. Additional work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, pavement marking removal and installation, pedestrian signal upgrades, pedestrian and vehicular traffic control and all associated work as shown on contract drawings and documents. The Project is located along Main Street in Ramyond, Maine. The work areas are approximately from the intersection of Route 302/ Route 121 to approximately the Raymond Parks and Recreation property. The contractor shall make note of the schedule requirements presented in the contract documents. The Town intends completion of the work in its entirety by November 4, 2022. Each bidder must submit a single sealed envelope, the outside of which must be clearly marked "Bid for Main Street Rehabilitation and Sidewalk Project". All questions are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Questions may be transmitted by e-mail to skelly@sebagotechnics.com . Questions received less than 5 working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. The successful bidder must furnish within 10 calendar days after the Notice of Award the required number of copies of the signed Agreement, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, Insurance Policy and begin execution of this contract within 10 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. The General Contractor shall be responsible for the full amount the 100% Performance Bond and the 100% Payment Bonds. Combining bonds of subcontractors is not acceptable. To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractorshall have obtained one set of plans and specifications electronically (PDF format) from the Engineer (Sebago Technics).
