Renovation of a mixed-use development in Concord, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.

All work will be done under the mechanical contractor as the prime contractor. The following is an outline of the scope of work for this project. 1. Remove existing acoustical ceiling clouds. 2. Remove existing lights in welding lab. 3. Remove portion of mechanical ductwork on two exhaust fans and provide intake screen on fan assembly. 4. Modify existing sprinkler system for "open structure" ceiling plan. 5. All demolished equipment and materials to properly disposed of. 6. Remove existing air compressor in mechanical room. 7. Existing air compressor outside of welding lab to remain and rework electrical and provide new compressed air lines. 8. Provide new lighting in Welding Lab. 9. Repaint walls and structure. 10. Clean and reseal existing concrete floor. 11. Provide new electrical to owner provided equipment and welding stations. 12. Replace an electrical distribution panel. 13. Provide new dry transformer. 14. Provide new labeling per College guidelines. All work shall be included in the bid. Bidders shall have completed the Prime Contractors Prequalification Form and submitted it by January 7, 2021, as per instructions stated on the form. HUB certified contractors are encouraged to submit a bid for this project. The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of licensing boards will be observed in receiving bids and awarding the contract.
