The project includes construction of a new IPS and force mains with an initial capacity of 105 million gallons per day (MGD) for Phase 1, with ultimate buildout capacity of 172 MGD. Major components of the pump station will include: Two (2) trench style, self-cleaning wet wells, five (5) 600 horsepower (hp) vertical turbine solids handling pumps connected to 42" diameter steel discharge headers, transitioning in a valve vault to two (2) 48" diameter HDPE force mains (approximately 5000 feet each), concrete junction structures, electrical building, pre-manufactured biofilter odor control system, pre-engineered metal buildings, 5 megawatt (MW) emergency/standby power generator system, civil site improvements, utility relocations, and control system required to operate and monitor the IPS.
