As of March 9th, 2022 this project is pending an award by the owner. The scope includes the removal of the existing Roof Section A, B & C roof system and components down to metal decking, inspect for deficiencies, install 2.6" of polyisocyanurate insulation in two layers, staggering joints, throughout, mechanically fastened per wind up-lift requirements, (insulation attachment over concrete decking section to be insulation adhesive) install 1/4 :12 slope tapered saddles, adhere 1/2 " SecuRock recovery board, sump all drains using tapered insulation 1/2:12 to an (8') diameter to promote positive drainage, install (cold-applied) fiberglass/polyester reinforced modified base sheet and SBS modified cap sheet throughout the field of the roof. Install in a shingle fashion from low to high point of the roof slope to promote positive drainage. Install fiberglass/polyester modified base sheet (cold-applied) and modified mineral cap sheet to all flashings, heat-weld all flashing seams and roll to ensure proper adhesion, apply asphalt based, fiber reinforced, fire rated cold-process flood coat at specified rate and embed pea-gravel throughout field. Install new 22-gauge steel coping caps to match existing color. Apply two coats of aluminized coating to all exposed mineral-surfaced flashings and rooftop penetrations. Clean up all debris and damage done to grounds, building and roof top (if any). Charcoal filters to be utilized at intakes the duration of the project. Provide 2-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranty to be provided upon completion. The successful Bidder will be responsible for the purchasing of all materials and supplies, coordination of delivery and installation as outlined in the attached specifications and drawings. The tasks will be completed at the site working with the design A/E firms and LCC. Specifications prepared by A/E firm DLZ Michigan, Inc., dated January 25th, 2022. All questions shall be submitted, in writing, not later than the 3rd day, February 2022 at 4:00 PM local time. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for bid opening.
