Broome DDSOO is looking for a vendor to install gutters with leaf guards on sections of roof where they are missing and install leaf guards on the existing gutters around the entire house. Property is located at 1441 Farm to Market Rd. Gutters and leaf guards must be installed to withstand large ice loads that come off roof. For this reason, winning bidder must strictly follow the below scope and general requirements. A site visit is required. Information for the site visit is listed after the Scope of Work and General Requirements listed below. Appropriately sized (minimum 5") gutters shall be installed. Gutters shall be sloped towards 3"x4" downspouts regardless of calculated need to be less prone to clogging and ice jams. Downspouts shall be tied into existing drainage lines provided. Downspouts shall be securely mounted to building in a manner approved of by manufacture. Gutters shall be of the seamless type and constructed of 20-gauge aluminum or thicker. Gutter hangers shall be installed every 16" on center and gutters shall rated by manufacture to withstand 300 pounds of dead weight hanging off the gutters. Gutters shall have a Gutter Pro leaf guard installed (or approved equivalent) designed to work with the new gutters. The leaf guard shall be of a maintenance free type and constructed out of 22-gauge aluminum or thicker and be supported every 16" on center. Screen type leaf guards will not be acceptable. In addition, the vendor shall install Gutter Pro leaf guard on all existing gutters around the entire house. Downspouts and gutters shall match existing. Leaf guard shall match existing roof as close as possible. All work must be done according to all applicable codes, industry best practices, and manufactures instructions if applicable. All work must be warrantied to be free defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work.
