Renovation of an educational facility in Boone, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 142,503-square-foot educational facility.
A brief outline of the scope of work was reviewed. Exterior Wall Restoration a. Replace elastomeric joint sealants at control joints, expansion joints, window perimeters, door perimeters, and exterior wall penetrations as specified in Section 07 92 00 "Elastomeric Joint Sealants" b. Replace through wall flashings where indicated in Contract Drawings as specified in Section 07 65 00 "Through Wall Flashings" c. Repoint masonry mortar joints where indicated in Contract Drawings as specified in Section 04 05 24 "Masonry Repointing" d. Replace deteriorated brick where indicated in Contract Drawings as specified in Section 04 20 00 "Unit Masonry" e. Provide Stucco finish where indicated in Contract Drawings as specified in Section 09 24 00 "Portland Cement Plasterf. Properly clean exterior walls and provide fluid applied water repellent as specified in Section 07 19 00 "Fluid Applied Water Repellent" Exterior Columns a. Remove existing precast panels b. Provide natural stone veneer to match existing 18. Awaiting asbestos test results. - to be provided via addenda
