For the Purchase of Sensus Water Accessory Equipment, or Reasonable Equivalent, & Repair to Meter Reading Equipment for Use by the Riverhead Water District All bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the designation BID #RWD-2022- 20 - SENSUS WATER METERS & ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT, OR REASONABLE EQUIVALENT, & REPAIR TO METER READING EQUIPMENT - RIVERHEAD WATER DISTRICT. All bids must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid document. Any and all exceptions to the Specifications must be listed separately and enclosed in an envelope bearing the designation "EXCEPTIONS TO BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR SENSUS WATER METERS OR REASONABLE EQUIVALENT". The contract period shall commence on the date a resolution is adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead and shall run for a period of one (1) year from that date. At the termination of this contract, the contract may be extended (not to exceed two extensions) for a total three- (3) year contract years at the sole discretion of the Town of Riverhead and with the consent of the vendor(s). Bids submitted shall remain in effect for forty-five (45) days past the date of bid expiration. The Town may decline to accept, deem untimely and/or reject any bid response/proposal that is not delivered to the Office of the Town Clerk. The Town Board reserves the right and responsibility to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality if it believes such action to be in the best interest of the Town.
