Site work for a mixed-use development in Portland, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Online Q&A No Fencing design, removal and construction This project covers (2) sites. We will meet at the main transportation yard, 716 NE Marine Dr, and conduct a pre-bid walk. We will then drive to the secondary site, the primary bus storage lot, located approximately at 10040 NE 6 th D to walk the second site. These combined sites make up the total project scope. The Columbia Transportation fencing project consists of the removal and disposal of the existing fencing systems, design of a new fencing system including structural drawings and calculations based upon the site layout provided by Juncus Studios. The awarded contract will then be responsible to provide the new fencing product and install per manufacturers specifications. Both sites have experienced a great deal of vandalism. This contract shall INCLUDE providing a level of security to both sites equal to or better than what currently exists with the existing fencing up until the project has been accepted by PPS. For example, during demo of the existing fencing, temporary fencing may need to be installed or some other means of security provided. Or install the new sections as the existing fencing is removed. The method of providing a continuous secure yard is up to the contractor, but it must be equal to or better than the existing conditions provided by the existing fence. The fence product selected shall be Cochrane USA-ClearVu 8-foot tall fence panel or approved equal. Our main desire is to have a fencing system that is anti-climb and that the wire design is difficult to cut through with bolt cutters. All work to be conducted within the limits of PPS property. Dimensions are approximate and are for reference only. Contractor responsible to verify all dimensions and quantities prior to construction. New gates, fences, and fence posts to be installed in the same location as existing chain link fencing and only as shown on drawings. Both the Marine drive and 6 th Dr sites are approximately 1000' in scope. Fence and footings for both the Marine Dr and 6 th Dr sites are to be designed and installed per locations identified on sheet L2 and per manufacturer's recommendations. Contractor to verify all field measurements and submit shop drawings for fence and gate design to include structural drawings and calculations.
