The proposed location for the New School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks Building (MSN) is on the parcel of land bound by Innovation Way West on the West, East Unity Avenue to the north and Innovation Way South to the south on the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus in Mesa Arizona. The project will be a comprehensive addition to ASU's growing Polytechnic campus and serve as a catalyst for the proposed Innovation Research district adjacent to the campus. The facility will house innovative research teams focusing on the research thrusts as itemized below: 1. Additive Manufacturing: 25,056 G.S.F. 2. Robotics for Smart Manufacturing and Industry Automation: 12,920 G.S.F. 3. Cyber Manufacturing and Operations Research: 14,180 G.S.F. 4. Semi-conductor Manufacturing: 17,928 G.S.F. 5. Manufacturing Systems for the Energy Sector: 20,344 G.S.F.
