2,935 linear feet of 24-inch gravity wastewater pipeline with manholes and appurtenances primarily through undeveloped area. Projec includes trenchless installation under Finial Drive. Each prospective bidder must provide a statement of qualification documenting that it complies with the Minimum Criteria for the Qualification of Bidders prior to the non-mandatory pre-bid conference. Statements of qualifications must include the information attached as Exhibit "A". Statements of qualifications will be evaluated by the Engineer and bidders meeting the minimum criteria specified above will be pre-qualified prior to each bid opening. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who is not pre-qualified. All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid, as specified in "Instructions To Bidders". Performance and payment bonds shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by Owner pursuant to applicable law. The work shall be substantially complete within 150 Calendar Days after date specified in the Notice to Proceed, in accordance with the "Bid Form". Final completion for the work shall be achieved within 30 Calendar Days after substantial completion. Liquidated damages are One Thousand Five Hundred and No/Hundredths Dollars ($1,500) per Calendar Day for failure to substantially complete the work and Two Hundred and No/Hundredths Dollars ($200) per Calendar Day for failure to achieve final completion within the associated schedule duration previously described.
