** This project has been awarded to Grenlar Construction in amount of $998,000. ** The Arietta Schoolhouse Renovation at Hale Pass project is to renovate the historic Arietta School house and bring back the prominence of the facility to the PenMet parks department and the constituents it represents. The work includes, but not limited to. selective demolition, asbestos contained wood floor removal/ replacement, existing wood floor refinishing, finish restoration, new restrooms, new plumbing, new HVAC/Dnetwork, new electrical, new cabinets, new sidewalks, roofing/misc. Sheetmetal, new domestic well, GWB/Paint, doors and windows, railings, new entry drive and landscaping restoration. The estimated/budgeted cost of the project without additive or deductive alternates is $850,000. Substantial completion and owner occupancy is 100 calendar days after N.T.P. Estimated/budgeted numbers published must not be used as a basis of bid preparation. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public project. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. Peninsula Metropolitan Parks District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. To perform this work, the contractor must have, but not limited to, adequate insurance per general conditions, pay state prevailing wage rates and have a Washington State Contractors License. All bids shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days.
