Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2269-Subchapter G, it is the intent of Lufkin ISD to select the most qualified Design Build firm that will provide energy efficiency and facility improvement services. Lufkin Independent School District, Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2269 - Subchapter G, is soliciting qualifications from design-build firms or energy service companies (Respondents). The Respondents to the RFQ will have capabilities to develop, design, install, and manage performance of an energy efficiency and facility improvement program for Lufkin ISD ("Owner"). For the purpose of this RFQ, "Respondent" refers to any entity or team that is qualified to provide all the design-build and energy efficiency services as listed in this request. It is the intent of Owner to select the Respondent demonstrating the best overall value to the Owner, and to enter into an agreement to provide comprehensive energy efficiency and facility improvement services to Owner. Owner intends to enter into an agreement with a Design Build firm to implement energy efficiency and deferred maintenance improvements at facilities throughout the district. The Respondent, upon selection,will provide a Total Project Lump Sum Price for the project that is developed for the Owner.
