The Project generally consists of sitework, drainage improvements, utilities, construction of a new senior citizens center, paving and landscaping on property at the intersection of Lions Park Road & County Road 1669. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 240 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. Representatives of Owner, Architect and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Attendance of the prebid conference is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged to obtain a full understanding of the scope of the project. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
