The City of Visalia is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide the design, demolition of existing playground equipment, installation of new playground equipment and safety inspection for two (2) separate playground structures in Visalia, California. This solicitation is being offered as two separate projects: Interested Proposers may propose on one or both projects but must propose on all items in each project for which a proposal is being submitted. Requests for Proposal specifications and contract documents may be obtained by calling the Purchasing Division at (559) 713-4334 or emailing At the conclusion of the meeting, Interested proposers will have an opportunity to visit each project site, beginning with Project A jobsite: Riverway Sports Park Playground, 3611 N. Dinuba Blvd., Visalia then visit Project B jobsite: Village Park Playground 309 N. Pearl Street, Visalia, CA. Transportation will be the responsibility of the Contractor The City of Visalia utilizes a regional bid notification system created exclusively for the Purchasing Department within the area. This system allows the City of Visalia to post all information needed by vendors regarding bids, quotes (informal), request for proposals, construction notices, addenda and awards. QUESTIONS regarding this contract or RFB should be directed in writing to the Visalia Purchasing Department, at fax (559) 713-4801 or email: purchasing@visalia.city, Questions must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 The City hereby affirmatively ensures that Minority Business Enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice The right is reserved by the City of Visalia to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities not affected by law, to evaluate the proposals submitted and to award the contract according to the proposal which best serves the interests of said City.
