As of 01/26/2022 This project has been awarded to MidSouth Paving, Inc in the amount of $2, 436, 119.65. Proposals to provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for the 2022 Street Resurfacing Program, Florence, Alabama The work under this project shall include, but not be limited to, all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified in the approved bid documents. Each bidder shall file with his bid a bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount up to a maximum of $10,000.00, payable to the City of Florence, Alabama. Each bidder must file either a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama Bank or a bid bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bonds in the State of Alabama. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, at the time of the signing of the contract, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% the contract price. Also, a Payment Bond will be required in the amount of 50% of the contract amount. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
