If a contract is not awarded, Johnston County Public Schools will not be liable for bidding costs. In the event that this solicitation results in a contract award, Johnston County Public Schools will accomplish such award in accordance with the solicitation terms and conditions. JCPS will make every effort to provide answers prior to 3:00 p.m. on December 30th, 2021. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for award of bid only. The parties shall enter into the formal contract after the award of the bid, subject to Johnston County Schools Board of Education approval. Johnston Couty Schools reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in their discretion. Payment terms are Net 30 days after receipt of correct invoice or acceptance of goods, whichever is later. The using agency is responsible for all payments under the contract. In case of default by the Bidder, Johnston County Schools reserves the right to exercise or use any legal remidies available to it. This clause will be negotiated in the contract.
