BIN 2208610 The project provides for the rehabilitation of East Brighton Avenue Bridge over NYS&W Railway, the bridge is owned by the City of Syracuse. The project limits are East Brighton Avenue between Ainsley Drive and East Glen Avenue and involves the complete reconstruction of the bridge deck, associated repairs and reconstruction of the approaches. There is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation requirement for this project of 6%. The affirmative action goals include a minority utilization of 3.8% and utilization goal of 6.9% for women. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% All work items of this contract shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed or shall be completed by September 3, 2022, whichever comes first. All work items of this contract shall be substantially completed 2 weeks before September 3, 2022.
