The City ofMuscatine and the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department are undertaking a playground replacement/renovation project for three (3) playgrounds located on three (3) different publicly owned areas within the City of Muscatine city limits. We are interested in receiving proposals for complete playground development to include all costs associated with the purchase, delivery, site preparation and installation ofthe play units and the poured in place rubber safety surfacing. In trying to accomplish this, we have selected several firms to submit proposals. Our approach is to invite representatives from some ofthese firms to give an oral presentation supplemented with visual aids. Ifyour firm is selected to give a presentation, you will be contacted to give a presentation between January 25-27, 2022. The check of the successful proposer will be returned after he enters into contract and furnishes satisfactory performance and maintenance bonds, If your organization is requested to make an oral presentation; prior to the oral presentation a bid security in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total proposals shall stand as security. Proposer shall provide a certified check drawn on a solvent Iowa Bank or an acceptable bidders bond for the project.
