Renovation of a municipal facility in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Proposal must include the cost of installation of a new boiler in City Hall building to include all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees to furnish, deliver, construct and install the steam boiler including removal of current boiler. All questions must be summitted by email to the following persons: Tim Kotschwar, Facility Maintenance Supervisor, tkotschwar@kearneygov.org The City of Kearney is an equal opportunity employer and requires all contractors and consultants to comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Minimum Equipment Specifications are as follows: Atmospheric Gas Fired, Commercial Cast Iron Boiler 1,470,000 BTU input/1,145,000 BTU output 77.9% Thermal Efficiency 80% Combustion Efficiency Cast Iron Sections Insulated Jacket E1-Spark Ignition System with intermittent burning electronically supervised safety pilot with 100% shut-off. Furnish a prewire control panel with fuse and switches for Power, Pilot, and Main Valve and related signal lamps for operation. 15 PSI Safety Valve Feed Pump controller Vent Piping Electrical connection Installation must be completed by July 31, 2022 The city of Kearney reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified firm or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the Request for proposals, if it is in the best interest of the City of Kearney to do so.
