Furnishing all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary for completion of the following: WALDEN STORM SEWER OUTFALL PIPE REHABILITATION AND TELEVISING (PHASE 1 WORK) The major items of work include: Rehabilitation of multiple storm outfalls in Walden Subdivision using CIPP or Spiral Wound Pipe to line the inside of existing CMP piping. Includes cleaning, video inspection of storm pipes. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. Specifications and Bid Documents are available via internet, at no cost, from www.CIVCASTUSA.com You are to complete the work within Seventy-Five (75) consecutive calendar days from the date of the NOTICE TO PROCEED. This project is for the rehabilitation of three storm outfall pipes (one as an alternate) in need of repair, and video inspection of seven storm outfall pipes that appear to be in good condition (as viewable at the storm manhole) within the Walden Development in the MUD 9 service area. The storm outfalls have been inspected and given a number for identification. Montgomery County MUD 9 (Owner) has authorized Bleyl Engineering (Engineer) to oversee the rehabilitation of various storm pipes within Walden that drain to Lake Conroe that were determined to be in poor condition or in critical areas between homes. The Lake elevation on the day of inspection, October 19, 2021, was 199.67. The following details are recommendations based on visual inspection and preliminary research completed by the Engineer. Contractor shall have access to the site to collect all necessary information prior to the bid to understand all requirements to complete the work. Alternative pipe rehabilitation methods may be used at the discretion of the contractor and as approved by the Engineer prior to the bid. All additional work items required as a result of alternative methods shall be considered incindental and be included in the unit price for each item on the bid. Change orders will not be accepted during construction that are related to work items that result from the use of alternative methods.
