This Project includes the following Work: Installation of a new principal spillway intake structure, conduit, and impact basin via open cut excavation. Removal of the existing intake structure, principal spillway conduit, and rock riprap-lined plunge pool. Reworking the downstream slope of the dam which experienced a shallow slope failure, including: removal of existing rock riprap used for stabilization, regrading the downstream slope, installing a toe drain system, installation of filter and bedding material on the slope, and replacement of the existing rock riprap. Removal of a 2-foot-tall concrete parapet wall, removal of old equipment, raising the dam 1-foot with compacted fill, installing a new flexible base access road on the crest of the dam.
