Description: Clarendon County School District 4 is soliciting proposals from contractors for a Construction Manager at Risk multi-classroom portable project. The project location is Turbeville, SC. Clarendon School District No. 4 requests qualified firms to submit a proposal for providing Construction Management at Risk services for construction of an Eight (8) Modular Classroom Unit at each Walker-Gamble Elementary and East Clarendon Elementary Schools as described below in Scope of Project The modular classrooms will need to be an Office of School Facilities (OSF) approved structure. The structure must be handicap accessible. The structure must contain eight (8) classrooms, two (2) offices, and boys and girls group restrooms that are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. The project will consist of, but not limitied to, excavation, grading, erosion control, seeding, restoration, landscaping, fine grading, foundation for modular classroom, connection to all utilities (electric, water, and sewer), install HVAC, install fire/smoke alarm system, install fire extinguishers, install security system, install clocks and bells, and install communication system for communication with the main building, covered walkway between the main building and the modular classroom, and any other requirement for a turnkey solution for the modular classroom
