Site work for an educational facility in Frederick, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The Maryland School for the Deafis soliciting a vendor to furnish and install a new fence behind the Veditz Building on the Frederick Campus at 300 South Carroll St. Frederick, Md 21705. The Scope of work includes, the removal of the old fencing, and the supply and installation of a Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link Fence. All Bids must be based on the following set of minimum specifications. The Maryland School for the Deaf reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Award will be made to the responsible and responsive bidder based on lowest total cost. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of State Finance and Procurement Articles, Title 19, Annotated code of Maryland. The Law of Maryland shall govern the interpretation and enforcement of this Contract. Contractor will remove and haul approximately 810 linear feet of 6' Green Chain link fence. The disposal ofthis material must be off MSD property. 2. The contractor will remove the posts and the concrete supporting the post. (Fencing, Poles, and Concrete) 3. Bush, twig, brush, or tree etc. intertwined in the fence, the contractor will remove those objects as well and dispose ofthe objects off ofMSD property 4. Contractor will install approximately 810 linear feet of 6' Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link Fence 5. All Fence posts must be installed 24 inches deep into the ground with wet cement. 6. Contractor will install Top rail (1 5/8" OD SS20 Black Vinyl Coated Pipe) and Bottom tension wire throughout the 810 linear feet 7. Terminal Posts: 2 Vi1 OD SS40 Black Vinyl Coated Pipe 8. Each Terminal Post will be a maximum length of 10' apart 9. Line Posts: 2" OD SS40 Black Vinyl Coated Pipe 10. Chain Link Mesh 2" Mesh X 8 gauge X 72" Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link Mesh 11. The contractor will have at a minimum 5 years of experience in Installation of Fences. References maybe requested upon Contract Award.
