Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Part A - McCallum Pump Station The McCallum Pump Station is a completely new station to be built on McCallum Road between Highway 1 in Langford, BC. The Pump Station will connect to existing supply and distribution mains on McCallum Road, and will be built with the following: .1 Complete post disaster building with separate electrical and pump room. .2 All 316 stainless steel process piping to 1 meter away from the building footprint. .3 Ductile Iron water distribution piping to/from the Pump Station. .4 Pumps, motors, valves, surge tanks, flow meter and appurtenances for a complete operational system. .5 All mechanical heating, fans, and dehumidification equipment. .6 All electrical, controls (for process and mechanical equipment), starters, instrumentation for a complete operational system. .7 Generator, structural pad, posilock connection and transfer switch. .8 All storm, building and perimeter drains including manholes and sumps. .9 All water piping related to the Pump Station function, valves, and connection to existing supply and distribution mains with materials supplied by the contractor and installed by CRD forces. Contractor will coordinate connections directly with CRD operational staff. .10 All site work including unsuitable material removal and backfills, common excavation rough grading, sub-base, base-course, paving, finished grading, excavation, trenching, fencing, clearing and grubbing. .11 Commissioning and testing all equipment and controls. .12 Supply of a complete operation and maintenance manual. .13 Connection to existing mains will be done by CRD forces with materials supplied by the contractor. Contractor will coordinate connections directly with CRD operational staff. Part B - Pump Station 7 and Tank 4 Reservoir The Pump Station 7 and Tank 4 site is located on Skirt Mountain, up the road from the McCallum site, and contains dense vegetation and trees. The site will have a completely new Pump Station and Bolted-Steel Tank water Reservoir connect to existing supply and distribution mains on Bear Mountain Pkwy. The Pump Station and Reservoir will be built with the following: .1 All 316 stainless steel process piping to 1 meter away from the Pump Station building and from the reservoir footprint. .2 Ductile Iron water distribution piping to/from the pump station and tank. .3 Pumps, motors, valves, surge tanks, flow meter and appurtenances for a complete operational system. .4 All mechanical heating, fans, and dehumidification equipment. .5 All electrical, controls (for process and mechanical equipment), starters, instrumentation for a complete operational system. .6 Generator, structural pad, posilock connection and transfer switch. .7 All storm, building and perimeter drains including manholes and sumps. .8 The Tank 4 Reservoir will be a new glass-fused bolted steel reservoir with a water storage size of 2,775 cubic meters or greater, interior stainless steel piping and static mixer, underground piping stainless steel to 1.0m outside the reservoir, and a new buried seismic isolation valve with electric actuator. .9 The site will contain improvements and provisions for a second future tank shown on the drawings.
