Pavilion H - 3rd Floor Behavioral Health Bid Package #1 - Early Demolition It is the intent for this project that the subcontractor performs all work scoped herein and as specified in the Drawings and Specifications. This subcontractor furnish 100% of the labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, operators, hauling, rigging, shop drawings, submittals, layout, unloading, scaffolding, ladders, hoisting, transportation, all applicable taxes included for Kentucky, permits, engineering, support functions, bonds, warranties, guarantees, and any other items or services necessary for and reasonably incidental to safely execute and complete the work scoped herein, where temporary or permanent, in full compliance with all drawings (if the contractor does not review all drawings, they will not be granted any additional money for scope missed shown on other drawings) , specifications, addenda, general conditions, requirements, and other related documents as indicated herein. Subcontractor to reference other Trade Packages for clarifications of coordination among other trades. Anyone wishing to discuss specific items is requested to submit the items in writing to the Capital Construction Procurement Office, no later than January 07, 2022 @ 3:00 PM. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond (Payable to Wehr Constructors, Inc.) and 100% Payment Bond (Payable to Wehr Constructors, Inc.) shall be included in all bidding proposals with the amount broken out on the Form of Proposal. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders, General Conditions and Special Conditions. Performance and Payment bonds shall be dual obligee bonds in favor of both the University of Kentucky and Wehr Constructors, Inc. All insurance obligations are required to name Wehr Constructors and the University of Kentucky as additional insured. The time for substantial completion for all phases shall be forty-one (41) Calendar Days and Final Completion shall be thirty (30) days thereafter. Substantial Completion will include all site restoration completed, site clean-up and fully functional.
