Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fayetteville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Fayette County Public Schools (hereinafter FCPS) is soliciting proposals via this Request for Proposals (hereinafter RFP) from interested and qualified proposers to provide the replacement of the main switchgear (including new underground service) and panels, as specified within this solicitation, for LaFayette Educational Center (LEC) Building D. As is more fully explained in this RFP, an award, if made, will be made to the responsible and responsive proposer who provides the best solution to the described need, taking into consideration multiple evaluation factors as determined by the FCSD and defined herein. It is the proposer's responsibility to address all elements of this RFP. Any proposer failing to meet the terms and conditions herein may suffer a reduction in their evaluation score up to a complete rejection of their proposal. Offices will be closed for the Christmas Holiday from Monday, December 20, 2021 through Friday, December 31, 2021. Site visits can be scheduled for anytime after Monday, January 3, 2022 but before Friday, January 28, 2022 Questions Due Monday, January 17, 2022 Anticipated Project Start March 2022 *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. This project will consist of the removal of the existing 2500amp 208/120 volt 3 phase 4 wire switchgear and overhead service from Building D at the LaFayette Educational Center; installing a new 2500amp 208/120 volt 3 phase 4 wire switchgear with underground service. Removal of NKP, MDP, and MD panels, including feeders and conduit. Installing new panels, feeders, and conduit. Reconnect all sub feeders and branch circuits to the new NKP, MDP, and DP panels. Reroute conduit to MDP and DP panels above the ceiling and off of the roof. Reroute feeders to RTUAC-1, RTUAC-2, RTUAC-4, RTUAC-6, and RTUAC-7 into the building, eliminating current feeders and conduit on the roof. Contractor will be responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all job related materials, with the exception of any and all copper feeders removed during demo.
