Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
The City reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of thirty (60) days, to accept or reject all Bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be in the best interest of the City of Bismarck. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidders Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, including all add alternates, executed by the bidder as principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business in this State, as required by NDCC Section 48- 01.2-05(4), and conditioned that if the Principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to him, he, within ten days after notice of award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his bid and a Contractor's Bond (performance and payment bonds) according to law and the regulations and determinations of the governing Board. Cash, cashier's checks or certified checks will not be accepted as bid security in place of the required bond. See Instructions to Bidders 00 1000, Art. 7. THE OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject Bids and to hold all Bids for a period of 60 days after the date fixed for the opening thereof. A contract for the work may be awarded to the successful bidder will by the Bismarck City Commission.
