Site work and paving for a civil project in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Unit Price/sy $14.39 Deadline for questions is Thursday, January 13, 2022 The County of El Paso is seeking a qualified paving company to provide labor, material and/or equipment (as specified by bid item) for the County's FY 2022 Road and Bridge Paving Project. The County is requesting unit prices to perform up to 30 miles of roadway resurfacing (Countywide) within the unincorporated portions of El Paso County. The County is estimating approximately 350,000 square yards of HMAC will be needed to overlay the designated roads within the communities of Canutillo, East Montana, Fabens and Horizon Region of the County. The County's estimated time to perform the overlays is 120 calendar days (weather permitting). The bid price will be per square yard and should include all labor, equipment, tools and incidentals (to include, but not limited to, traffic control, mobilization, cleanup, adjustment of manholes, valves, monument bonnets, etc.) necessary to perform a complete service. Several roadways intersect with TXDOT ROW; therefore, it will be necessary to have proper traffic control measures and permits as required by TXDOT offices. Work will be paid by the square yard of surface repaved. The County is estimating approximately 100,000 square yards of fog seal to be installed on the designated roadways within the communities as well. The bid price will be per square yard of surface area cover and should include all labor, equipment, tools and incidentals (to include, but not limited to, crack sealing, traffic control, mobilization, cleanup, cleaning of manhole covers, valve covers, etc.) necessary to perform a complete service. Several roadways intersect with TXDOT ROW; therefore, it will be necessary to have proper traffic control measures and permits as required by TXDOT offices. Work will be paid by the square yard of surface sealed.
