WESTERN MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT Riverside, California NOTICE INVITING BIDS For the Construction of WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT MOUNTAIN COURT, MORNING SUN COURT, MEADOW MIST COURT, BLUE HAVEN COURT & LAKEPOINTE DRIVE SPECIFICATION W-298 The Western Municipal Water District ("District") will receive sealed bids plainly marked on the outside General Engineering Contractor. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3400(b), if the District may make findings designating certain materials, products, things, or services by specific brand or trade name, if such findings have been made for this Project, the findings and the materials, products, things, or services and their specific brand or trade names will be set forth in the Special Conditions. The District shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as on the basis of the sum of the base bid and all alternate bid items (additive or deductive) to assure competitive bidding on all Bid Items, unless otherwise directed by the District Project Manager. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bids or in the Bidding process. The Engineer's opinion of probable cost is $1,183,350.00. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
