Construction consists of the construction of approximately 2382m of new 500mm HDPE forcemain on Townline Road and D'Youville Drive from the Townline Lift Station to a new sanitary manhole at the intersection of O'Brien Street and Bell Street, the construction of the two (2) precast valve chambers and the connections to the existing pump station included all required mechanical and electrical installations and modifications. The project is anticipated to be executed in a phased approach with construction completion by December 31, 2023. Complete tender documents may be obtained from Ainley Group Consulting Engineers and Planners, on payment of a non-refundable cost of $25 per set, by emailing their office as noted below after 8:00 am local time on Thursday March 3, 2022. Cheques or etransfers should be made payable to Ainley Group Consulting Engineers and Planners per directions received when requesting the tender documents. Upon receipt of payment, an email will be provided with the link and password where the documents, drawings and any future addenda may be retrieved. All questions relating to this tender will be received in writing up to and no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on Monday, March 21, 2022. Questions are to be submitted to Ainley Group Consulting Engineers and Planners at the email noted below. The final addendum will be released no later than Thursday, March 24, 2022. The successful bidder will be required to file with the City of Pembroke the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the Contract. The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA). The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
