Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Increasing of the treatment capacity of the Municipality activated sludge treatment plant serving in particular a major food industry. The work includes the implementation of BioMag ballasted block technology using magnetite, installation of a sludge dewatering system by centrifuge and an ultraviolet radiation disinfection system. The project also includes the installation of a new emergency generator. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in fall 2024. Owner expects to complete the project by three construction packages. Tender for the first construction package is anticipated in early/spring 2025.
