Site work for a water / sewer project in Chandler, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of May 26, 2022 neither a short list nor a final selection has been determined. This project is for improvements to the City's reclaimed water production and conveyance facilities to serve Intel's expansion of its manufacturing facility located at 4500 S. Dobson Road per Development Agreement. Questions Due: April 28, 2022 - 5:00 p.m. local Arizona time Improvements include, but are not limited to, addition of new vertical turbine pumps at the Airport Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF) located at 905 E. Queen Creek Road, electrical improvements at AWRF, piping and flow control structures at the Ocotillo Water Reclamation Facility (OWRF) located at 3333 S. Old Price Road. Piping improvements outside the AWRF and OWRF property boundaries, within City Right-Of-Way. Improvements include up to four aquifer storage and recovery wells drilling and equipping, within City limits. Both facilities (AWRF and OWRF) must remain fully operational during the entire duration of the construction. Improvements include restoration of affected properties, systems, and facilities. Detailed plans for contingencies and work arounds to minimize disruption to the ongoing operation of the WRFs and related City facilities will be required. The estimated construction cost for this project ranges from $25M to $30M.
