The Texas General Land Office ("GLO" or "agency") Community Development and Revitalization ("CDR") division seeks proposals from qualified vendors to implement a Pedestrian Egress Study (the "Study") for the following counties: Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron (the "Region"). The planning studies shall be focused on on-foot evacuation during high rainfall events in the Lower Rio Grande Valley (the "Valley"). The purpose of this Project is to determine how low tide sections of towns in the Valley can evacuate on foot to shelters during high rainfall events so that first responders can focus on other issues. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
