The scope includes reconstruction/repair of shower area, new plumbing fixtures, interior finishes, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Documents may be obtained from the office of Jennings Architects in electronic format. Access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers. Access to the Project Site may be obtained by contacting Russell Jacks, Assistant Chief, 903-531-1040, rjacks@tylertexas com. The Proposal package must consist of the following items: 1. Acknowledgement of all Addenda 2. Proposal/Qualifications in the prescribed format 3. Proposal/Bid Bond Basis for Ranking of Contractor: The City of Tyler will consider the qualifications of the Contractor and the proposed Contract Price and Time to determine which Contractor, in the opinion of the City, will provide the best value to the City of Tyler. The Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria and weighting: Proposed Contract Price = 50 % Proposed Completion Time = 10% Experience with Projects of this Specific Type and Magnitude (with references) = 20 % Company Profile and General Experience (with references) = 10 % Safety Record/Financial Profile =5% Any other relevant factor either listed in the RFP or provided by the general contractor (bonding capacity, location, etc.) = 5% Award of Contract: It is the intent of the City of Tyler to award this contract to the Contractor who provides the best value for the City as determined when considering the relative importance of costs and other evaluation factors described above. The City reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Proposals submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating Proposal prices, to reject any or all Proposals, and/or waive formalities. Ranking of Proposals will be completed in 60 days or less following the Proposal opening date. The cost of the work to be performed under this Contract will be financed with funds furnished by the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any informalities. No Proposals maybe withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the Proposal opening. Please Note: In accordance with House Bill 1295, for certain contracts entered into on or after January 1, 2016, the successful bidder must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) at the time the signed contract is submitted to the CITY.
