Site work for a water / sewer project in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Anticipated construction start is March 2022. The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following: Contract Number 20-1, Small Diameter Water Main Replacements Construction of approximately 2,900 l.f. of 8-inch water main; 24,500 l.f. of 6-inch water main; and 3,000 l.f. of 4-inch and smaller water main; together with necessary appertaining work. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company approved by the Parkersburg Utility Board in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract, if given the award. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. The Parkersburg Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest and best Bidder. Each proposal must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. The Parkersburg Utility Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
