Site work for a civil project in Prineville, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Ochoco Irrigation District, Group 1 Pump Station Project The work contemplated consists of, but is not limited to the following major items as further defined in the Proposal Documents: o Demolition and reconstruction of two irrigation pump stations. o The existing Barnes Butte Pumping Plant consisting of five pumps, totaling 1,800 HP, and a total capacity of 135 CFS will be replaced. Replacement facilities will include eleven vertical turbine pumps, totaling 2,100 HP and a have a total capacity of 155 CFS. o The existing Ochoco Relift Pumping Plant consisting of six pumps, totaling 1,550 HP, and a total capacity of 95 CFS will be replaced. Replacement facilities will include nine vertical turbine pumps, totaling 1,625 HP and a have a total capacity of 115 CFS. Two other existing pumps will remain, protected in place. o The work also includes, but is not necessarily limited to, coordination with electrical utility, construction survey, demolition and disposal of existing equipment, shoring and dewatering, excavation and backfill, cast-in-place concrete, construction of metal frame canopy structure, procurement and installation of HDPE and steel pipe, valves, pumps and motors, electrical equipment, lighting, instrumentation and controls, wiring, testing, start-up and training of Owners personnel. The contract time will be limited to a Substantial Completion time schedule commencing on February 15, 2022 and ending on March 31, 2023 (410 Calendar Days). All materials for the project will be supplied by the Contractor. Substantial completion of all work included in the contract agreement must be attained by March 31, 2023. Liquidated damages of $2,000.00 per day for the first 10 days and $10,000.00 per day thereafter shall be assessed should the contractor fail to achieve substantial completion within the time allowed. Restoration, demobilization from the site and all closeout and punch-list items are to be completed by April 30, 2023. Contractors shall use recyclable products to the maximum extent economically feasible in the performance of the contract work. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to propose on this project. Each Proposal must be submitted as prescribed and accompanied by a certified check or Proposal bond executed on the form bound within the Contract Documents or one substantially similar, payable to the Ochoco Irrigation District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount Proposal. The successful Proposer will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price. Any Proposer may withdraw its Proposal prior to the time of Proposal opening and no Proposer may withdraw its Proposal after the time of Proposal opening. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to; Pump station construction including all general requirements, submittals, temporary facilities and controls, selective demolition, construction, quality control inspection and testing, field testing of installed pumping equipment, commissioning of electrical and pumping equipment, and preparation of O&M manuals, and record drawings. a. Selective demolition includes, but is not necessarily limited to; regulatory compliant removal and proper disposal of existing pumps and motors, piping, valves, thrust blocks, ancillary equipment, electrical take-off structure, transformer, electrical equipment, chain link fence, and other above ground and underground improvements as shown on the Drawings. b. Construction includes, but is not necessarily limited to; placement of erosion and sediment controls, installation and maintenance of temporary facilities and controls, construction staking, site clearing and grubbing, earthwork, shoring, dewatering, placement and finishing of structural concrete, fabrication and erection of a canopy structure, procurement and installation of vertical turbine pump cans, pumps and motors, procurement and installation of pipe, valves and fittings, procurement and installation of electrical metering vault, switches, transformer and motor controls, procurement and installation of electrical conduit and wiring, grounding system, instrumentation and controls, application of paint and protective coatings, and replacement chain link fence and gates as shown on the Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents
