The city of lakeland (owner) seeks the services of a qualified contractor for the following: the c. D. Mcintosh station unit 1 is a 90 mw dual fuel natural gas or no. 6 fuel oil fired steam generating unit. The c. D. Mcintosh station unit 2 is a 114.7 mw dual fuel natural gas or low sulfur no. 6 and no. 2 fuel oil fired steam generating unit. The c. D. Mcintosh station unit 3 is a 365 mw coal fired unit. All three units (units 1, 2 & 3) have been identified for demolition as specified herein. The site is located on east lake parker drive in lakeland, florida at the mcintosh power plant. The contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, management resources, labor, and services (including environmental abatement and remediation), demolition clean-up, supervision, tools, cranes, equipment, temporary buildings, scaffolding, transportation, removal of demolished equipment and materials, consumables, fuel, incidental items, and supplies for accomplishing the demolition activities. The proposals submitted shall be in complete accordance with, without limitation, this request for proposal, the attached city of lakeland specifications, all codes and requirements referenced therein.
