**As of February 15, 2022 this project was awarded to Mark Cerrone Inc. with the awarded amount of $268,486. Anticipated start date will be mid of March. Construction of an automatic security gate at the City of Niagara Falls Corporation Yard at the Department of Public Works - 1785 New Road Niagara Falls NY Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Contract term: 5 MONTHS Each bidder must include with his bid, a certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City of Niagara Falls, in the amount of not less than FIVE (5) PERCENT of the price bid, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, in form and substance, and with sureties approved by the City Corporation Counsel, in the amount of not less than ONE HUNDRED (100) PERCENTUM of the total amount of the accepted proposal. All proposals must be made on blank forms, which together with other requirements, may be obtained in the Office of the City Engineer. Contractor is required to complete the Insurance Information Form, Performance and Payment Bond Information Form, and other documentation specified in the Instructions to Bidders, when submitting a proposal. The City Administrator reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities.
