Saving Project...

Site work for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

To provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install 28 water service taps as specified in the Request for Bids. This is an informal request for bids and the bids received will not be public until the contract is awarded. The Bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install a total of 28 water service taps, consisting of 21 long services and 7 short services, at the locations indicated in Exhibit 2. This work will include the installation of stainless-steel saddles, 3/4 " corporation stops, 3/4 " meter setters, standard boxes, and 3/4 " CTS equivalent polyethylene pipe. Restoration of any asphalt, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalk, road shoulder, and landscaping (including resodding) at each site shall also be completed. Work shall be performed in accordance with ONWASA's Manual of Standards, Specifications and Details (MSSD) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Structures Sections 1500, 1510, and 1515; except as modified herein. The contractor will be responsible for all NCDOT encroachments, traffic control, and scheduling any water outages with ONWASA. NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA.
